This was lunch one day this past week.
Quick and simple and the kids love them.
1 cup of milk
1 cup of flour(preferably unbleached or whole wheat. 1/2 cup white and 1/2 cup wholewheat works nice too.
1tbsp baking powder
1 egg
Mix all together and fry on the frying pan. I like to use a little bit of butter to fry them up.
Serve them with Maple syrup and fruit on top(or on the side if you have picky eaters)

ReplyDeleteI thought you'd like this homemade recipe for syrup. I make it ALL the time, and it is super yummy. Just don't "broil" it like the recipe says...just BOIL it!

For the most part we avoid corn syrup. I know Maple Syrup is expensive but I feel that because it is an actual true source from nature it is much healthier then a processed source.
